Andrew and Wendy Mutch will give a talk on Kit Houses--houses that were introduced in the first decade of the 20th century. The homes were sold by catalog with all materials shipped by rail: lumber, nails, screws, paint, pre-build building parts (such as staircases) along with building plans, specifications and a manual.
