Lynn Henning, Field Operations Director for the Socially Responsible Agricultural Project, will discuss hazards of factory farming. As a result of her efforts to fight devastating pollution from concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) in Michigan, Ms. Henning received the 2010 Goldman Environmental Prize--the environmental equivalent of the Nobel Prize. VegMichigan will pass out plant-based food samples to take home.
