Can be found at most art supply or office supply stores
SUBJECT MATTER -
Please bring 2 or 3 items you would like to set up next to you as a still life to draw. It doesn’t
have to be anything amazing. Simple household items are great, (i.e. stapler, vase, cup, etc.)
This is to practice drawing shapes and size relationships.
Spiral bound Sketchbook, any size but a 9" x 12" is good.
A variety of graphite pencils, such as: HB, 2B or 4B and/or charcoal pencils 2B & 4B
Drawing eraser, white or kneaded. It is good to have a couple of these.
Blending stumps (optional ) about $5 at Joanns

Pad of drawing paper, medium weight. As large as you can go for your sketch board to hold
Sketch Board to hold your drawing paper. Light adhesive tape such as painters tape.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a sketch board, you can leave your paper flat on table to draw.
Table top easels are great, if you have one please bring it. Not a requirement.
